Monday's Wind

Got a late start yesterday and didn't get on the water until around 2:00 with 4.5. Way OPd. Did a couple or reaches then rigged down to 4.0. Went out on 4.0 and was way UPd. Worked my way back in and took the still rigged 4.5 combo out. Much better. Had fun in the rolling swell at Uppers for an hour and half or so. Some small waves breaking today at Uppers but nothing really rideable. Lots of good ramps for jumping though. The wind swell outside the reef at Uppers was very nice though, reminiscent of rolling swells in the Gorge.

Work hasn't gotten in the way of sailing today. Winds look a little lighter today than they have been the last couple of days. Probably in the 5.0 range. I nice thing about living on Maui is knowing that you don't have to pounce on the wind every day it is windy. Aloha.
